1 newspaper photographer = 13 dead Syrians
Paul Conroy, the photographer wounded in Syria at the same time as Marie Colvin was killed, has been rescued.
This, from the Guardian: 'Conroy's father, Les, said his wife had spoken to their son and described him as being in "very good spirits", though he had not personally talked to him. "We're all very relieved and happy that Paul's out," he said. A spokesman for his paper said: "The Sunday Times can confirm that the photographer Paul Conroy is safe and in Lebanon. He is in good shape and good spirits."'
13 (that's thirteen) Syrian opposition fighters were killed in the course of getting Mr Conroy to safety. I can't quite get my head round the maths.
