A report from today's Guardian: "The alligator was later captured and killed. Langdale's arm was found in its stomach, but it could not be reattached."
I wonder whether anyone asked the victim if he wanted the arm to be re-attached: would you want your arm back after it's found its way into an alligator's stomach?
