Tesco fiasco
Every little helps a lot... and £250,000,000 helps a lot a lot. Tesco deserves every delivery of manure it gets and it's an experience common to plenty of companies whose principle claim to fame is to pile it high and sell it cheap. Think MFI: the message in the subtext is to say "you haven't got any money, so you have to shop with us, you poor, wretched people". A corporate positioning that invites hatred and gets it. Serves them right.
